Maggi

I made this maggi recipe one evening when I came from work. My husband was hungry & wanted to eat something which could be made within the least possible time. I entered my kitchen & my eyes fell on maggi. I got an instant innovative idea as to how to make maggi with a different taste.

Here goes the recipe.

VEGETARIAN

Cut 1 medium sized onion into small pieces & 1 medium sized tomato into small pieces.

In a small kadhai, put 1 1/2 table spoons oil to heat & put the onions to fry. After the onions turn light brown in color, ad the tomatoes till they cook. After both the onions & tomatoes have been cooked reasonably well, put the masala  of one's choice.

The masala which could be added could be a small amount of chilly powder & turmeric powder or garam masala or pav bhaji masala, chole masala, chicken masala. The taste would vary according to the masala used. Stir the onions & tomatoes for 1 minute after any of the above masala has been added. This ensures proper cooking of the masala as well.

Ad Maggi noodles - 1 block (masala flavor) on onion & tomato base, the gas should be on low flame. Here the readers should note that they can use noodles of any company or flavor of their liking.

Ad taste maker.

Put 2 cups of water & allow the noodles to cook.

Serve hot.

Note :- With the onions & tomatoes one can put green peas, capsicum, carrot, cabbage (patta gobi) finely cut  in the above base. The above ingredients would even work for 2 blocks of noodles. For more than 2 blocks double the quantity of the onion - tomato base i.e. 2 medium sized onions & tomatoes.

2 blocks of noodles serves 4 people.

NON - VEGETARIAN

Make vegetarian noodles in above manner. The cook here can prefer a chicken flavored noodle.

Simultaneously, on the other gas put  another kadhai with 1 1/2 table spoons of oil to heat.

Again put 1 medium sized onion finely chopped to fry till it turns light brown. Add 1 medium sized tomato to the light brown onion.

Ad the same masala as put in the maggi.

After the base has been cooked, ad eggs to the base. Generally, 2 - 3 eggs are sufficient but more eggs may be put if required. Beat the eggs in the vessel till they became solid.

After the eggs have cooked, add the entire cooked eggs in the noodles.

Serve hot.

Introduction

I am not a very good cook neither am I a foodie but I have eaten dishes made by different people in different styles. The same dish tastes different when different people make it. Even simple food made with good mind & heart would give it a wonderful taste. Though many food blogs are available, I still would like to make a blog on various food items, through my style.

My recipes may be very similar but I will try to bring to the readers various recipes either created by me or by someone. I would bring recipes as when it strikes my mind.

Join the blog to go through some mouth watering recipes.
